Coaching skills for Leaders
|
Many senior executives will have their
own coach, or have a style that emulates
that of a coach. A coaching style is
becoming recognised as one of the most
effective, empowering and
transformational tools that leaders can
have at their disposal.
As a leader, your ability to inspire, nurture and drive
excellence is paramount in liberating and maximising the
potential of your key resource – your people. Alongside a
range of leadership attributes, adopting a coaching style
with others will enable greater engagement.
CIPD research illustrates some of the drivers for the rise in
the popularity of coaching include:

†Shared - participants come from just 2-3 businesses, with

businesses that want a more economic option but do not
have the number of people to put forward for the typical 12
people cohort.
Our approach
Our preference would be to meet you in your
workplace to identify what outcomes you would wish to
see from the coaching approach to leadership. We
would gain an appreciation of the environment and
conditions you operate in, which would enable us to
design the most appropriate way of working with you.
Our facilitators are coaching experts and not only
meet our own high accreditation standards, but
those set by the Association for Coaching (AC),
the International Coach Federation (ICF), and the
European Mentoring and Coaching Council
(EMCC).
Maintaining Return on Expectation (ROE)
After adopting a coaching approach, you will be
surprised by the return of investment/expectation you
can create. However, it is worth considering staying in
‘peak condition’ yourself by finding a co-coaching
network, engaging your own coach, or benefiting from
supervision, all of which Primeast can help you
access.
